Other luxury brands, such as BMW and Audi, have already introduced their EVs to the market. However, the sports car segment has yet to see some new models. According to a report, the Ferrari’s first EV would cost over €5,00,000. 

According to a report by Reuters, according to a source, Ferrari’s first electric car would cost over €5,00,000 (around $5,35,000). The report said that the Italian luxury sports car maker had been planning to introduce its new electric vehicle in the market. Seoul, June 17: Shares of Hyundai Motor, South Korea’s leading carmaker, jumped here on Monday as it confirmed that its India unit has filed for an initial public offering (IPO) to raise around $3 billion (Rs 25,000 crore). Hyundai Motor surged 6.34 per cent to 285,000 won (US$206) shortly after opening on the South Korean exchange, marking a fresh 52-week peak.

The stock pared early gains to 279,000 won as of 10:30 a.m. (South Korean time), reports Yonhap news agency. Earlier in the day, Hyundai Motor said in a regulatory filing that its India unit submitted IPO documents to an Indian regulator. New Delhi, June 13: Automaker Kia India on Thursday said it has surpassed 250,000 vehicle exports from the country since 2019. The company has shipped 255,133 units internationally to over 100 markets from its Anantapur manufacturing facility, it said in a statement.

“The success of our ‘Made in India’ vehicles internationally shows our commitment to quality. New Delhi, June 12: The European Commission on Wednesday announced to impose provisional duties of up to 38.1 per cent on the import of Chinese electric vehicles (EVs).

An investigation by the Commission concluded that the battery electric vehicles (BEVs) value chain in China benefits from “unfair subsidization”, which is causing a threat of “economic injury” to EU BEV producers. The individual duties on three Chinese EV producers would be 17.4 per cent for BYD, 20 per cent for Geely and 38.1 per cent for SAIC. EV Sales Up by 40% to 1.75 Million Units in FY2024 in India.

Other BEV producers in China, which cooperated in the investigation but have not been sampled, would be subject to the average duty of 21 per cent. According to the Commission, all other BEV producers in China who did not cooperate in the investigation would be subject to the residual duty of 38.1 per cent.

New Delhi, June 9: Experts have used artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as Google Street View (GSV) that offer 360-degree views of streets, to determine key environmental elements impacting car-related collisions, and cyclist & pedestrian-related accidents.

In the study published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) of Injury Prevention, experts used GSV to find the link between car accidents and the built environment in locations where crashes occur.
